What's this? It's a
chalkboard menu found in a fish & chip shop in the southeast part
of London, England. Have a look at the last item on the
menu "mars bar batter". What pray tell is this?
Well I had to ask the same question!
It's apparently an artery clogging delicacy that's quite popular in
parts of Scotland. You put a "Mars Bar" in the freezer
until it's frozen solid, then you cover it in batter and then quickly
deep fry it. None of my UK friends would admit to having
actually eaten one!
